Hello, today is my first post. Maybe I should say attempt at this crazy new world I am looking at. I am a artist and paint is my form of expression. Everything else comes second. I will give you a link to my Web site and tell you a little about my days at the studio. I used to paint six or seven hours a day, but now that I have retired from a show circut my time is my own to use as I wish. For example today I painted a painting in memory of my mother-in-law. Her name was Vera and she was a wacky wonderful woman. Her favorite flower was a pansy, and her is one I painted for her. First I will show you my basic painting, second the way it looks almost complete, and lastly the final piece with butterfly and dew drops.

  1. Hello Emily,

We lived in Chester NH for a few years and were given a beautiful watercolor of a town in NH- I believe it is Sandown - but not sure, as a going away gift from our church, Fellowship Bible Church of Chester, NH. It is signed Emily L Johnson. I am just curious if you are the artist. I have always cherished it. It is an autumn scene with the front porches of a couple of houses and a church. It would be fun to know if I found the actual artist - it was given to us in 1985. Thank you, Bonnie Watkins
